Clark County Veterans Assistance Center
Purpose
Providing a safe environment and a listening ear for our Veterans and their Families. The veterans center will build positive and productive relationships through community reintegration assisting veterans with the challenges that sometimes causes barriers to community living such as employment, lack of skills and training, education and family counseling.
Resources
The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center has been developing a relationship with other county programs, communities, faith-based service providers and local Veteran Administration programs. The Veterans Assistance Center will continue to build the most comprehensive array of referral resources for veterans seeking assistance. But our main goal is to help any Veteran that requests help thru the Veterans Assistance Center.

Our Services
The center provides Veterans with information and assistance on benefits
- Eligibility screening and applications for Veterans Benefits
- Assistance in connecting veterans to the following community resources
- Skills training and education
- Health care and mental health services
- Food banks, clothing and housing
- Marriage and Family services
- Faith-based service partners
Our Work
The CCVAC is operated by a cadre of trained and caring veterans and community volunteers. The center offers a confidential environment and works to build a positive and productive relationship and assist veterans with a community reintegration.
The challenges that veterans face as they transition back into community living include unemployment,health issues, homelessness, family issues and other life changes that can sometimes cause barriers.
